Sandra spent the first fourteen years of her career in public practice in Nanaimo, obtaining her CGA designation in 1992. The next twelve years were spent gaining various industry experience including Controller and then Director of Finance for an expanding, diverse, locally owned group of companies.

Wanting to use her knowledge and experience to assist both clients and the students at the firm, Sandra returned to public practice at Church Pickard in 2015.   She obtained her Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation Advanced Diploma in April, 2016 from VIU.

Sandra enjoys the opportunity of working with clients’ staff to evaluate their accounting system in order to provide an overview and recommendations for stronger internal control and enhanced monthly financial reporting, to ensure clients have the support necessary to effectively assess their business on a regular basis.
