Janice McAllan CPA, CGA

Senior Associate

Janice earned her CGA designation in 1993 while working for a private security company in Victoria BC.  She moved to Nanaimo in 1997 to take the position as the staff accountant for a subsidiary of the provincial government, which oversees all major construction projects occurring within the province of BC.  Since then Janice has worked as an Accounting Manager for three local companies in the construction industry.  She has experience in all areas of the accounting functions in a business with an emphasis on job and equipment costs and fixed asset management.

In 2013 Janice took a break from the work force to return to Vancouver Island University to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration while she completed the University’s Fraud and Forensic Accounting program.  She joined Church Pickard in July of 2014.

Outside of work Janice enjoys competing in dog agility with her two beagles, camping, and hiking with her dogs.  When the dogs stay home she can be found out on her mountain bike or paddling her kayak.
